In a meeting with the President- Requirements and mechanisms for implementing the Free Trade Agreement with the Eurasian Economic Union were discussed at a meeting with the President.

At this meeting, which was held on Sunday in the President's Office, ministers and relevant officials presented a report on the latest details about the planning for the execution of the Free Trade Agreement with Eurasia, according to which the Eurasian Trade and Export Promotion Organization was established in the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade.
At the meeting, while emphasizing on making the most of the opportunities and capacities, created as a result of the accession of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Eurasian Economic Union Agreement, Mr. Rouhani accentuated the importance of the development of economic relations with the countries of the region, completion and expansion of the necessary infrastructures and facilities, especially in the field of sea and railways transportation.
The President also stressed the need to draw a clear picture of the type and volume of exports and imports with the Eurasian Economic Union members, delineating detailed operational mechanisms in order to boost production and increase the exports.
Accordingly, Iran will officially join the Eurasian Economic Union in early November this year, and for the first time since the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the country will be actively included in a regional economic agreement.
The total trade volume of the member countries of this union currently includes about 753 billion dollars and a market with a population of 200 million, using the capacity of which can create a leap and change in our country's economic relations.
The Presidents of Russia and Armenia have invited Mr. Rouhani to attend the next meeting of the Union, which will soon be hosted by the Prime Minister of Armenia in Yerevan.
